The second official Apple Store was just opened on saturday 29/09/2012 with an immense opening show. Exclusive events such as runway shows, shop openings of Timberland and the Bodyshop, art and fashion exhibitions and shows with hosts and celebrities take place several times per week.Walking around in Festival Walk makes you feel like being in America.
The first few days I spent most of my time there eating Korean foods with other exchange students at the food court, while watching little ice princesses or to meet people and walk around the several floors to absorb this modern Asian atmosphere. The food court is a very very busy place. It is almost impossible to find a seat, but the food is inexpensive and tastes better than the food from our canteen. It is so nice that you usually have the foods displayed in windows or on the menus.
It is quite convenient that this place is just a minute away from my lecture halls and 10 minutes away from my room.

My other favorite thing about this mall is the grocery store Taste. It offers absolutely everything somebody from abroad might miss, from Asian fruits to Italian pasta sauce, fresh made sushi, German bread and Chinese moon cakes. Even though it is surprisingly expensive compared to other food stores or markets, the food is of the best quality you will find.
